About Face and Body is a neighborhood boutique day spa in Berkeley, CA featuring skincare, lash/brow services, waxing, and massage services. If you are friendly, outgoing, and passionate about helping others feel their best, and willing to learn, then YOU are who we want to speak with!

We are looking for candidates who can communicate effectively with clients to take them through a complete educational experience from consultation to treatment by understanding each person’s daily habits and environmental factors to achieve the best level of care to meet their goals. You must be able to recommend at-home and after-treatment care to ensure the highest level of results for your clients. You will be working in a team environment contributing to the best level of client care and service.

Qualifications:

- Candidates must be currently licensed and have at least 2 years of experience

- Proficient in performing facials on all skin types

- Waxing in all areas of the body

- Excellent knowledge of skincare and ingredients

- Knowledge of retail sales techniques to promote skincare products

- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

- Able to work with clients of all genders

- Available on weekends, evenings, and holidays (we are closed on major holidays including Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years, etc.).

- Excellent work ethic and punctuality with attention to detail and cleanliness

Responsibilities:

- Provide exceptional customer service and create a welcoming and hospitable environment for clients

- Utilize salon software to schedule appointments to manage client information

- Conduct product demos and educate clients on skincare products

- Maintain a clean and organized treatment room and work area

- Promote and recommend products that achieve the client’s needs and goals

Additional Skills Desired: - Hydrafacial - Microdermabrasion - Sugaring - Microchanneling - Eyebrow/Eyelash Tinting - Lash Lift

You will need to perform a practical to demonstrate skills

Compensation: Based on experience + tips + commission and well as discounts on products and services
