Part-Time Security Guard

Job Overview

We are seeking a vigilant and dedicated Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our premises, students, employees, and visitors. This position requires a proactive individual who can effectively monitor activities, respond to incidents, and enforce security protocols.

Duties

Monitor and patrol assigned areas to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.

Respond promptly to alarms and emergencies, coordinating with law enforcement or emergency services as necessary.

Conduct regular inspections of buildings and grounds to ensure safety compliance and identify potential hazards.

Enforce rules and regulations to maintain order and protect company assets from theft or damage.

Provide assistance during emergencies, including administering CPR or first aid when required.

Document incidents, accidents, or unusual activities in detailed reports for management review.

Collaborate with team members in conflict management scenarios to de-escalate situations effectively.

Skills

Experience in law enforcement or military service is advantageous.

Knowledge of loss prevention techniques to safeguard assets effectively.

Certification in CPR and first aid is preferred.

Strong conflict management skills to handle challenging situations calmly and professionally.

Ability to remain alert and observant while performing duties over extended periods.

Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with staff, visitors, and emergency personnel.
