Description We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Medical Patient Care Coordinator to join our rapidly growing clinic located in Los Angeles, CA. The ideal candidate will have a passion for healthcare, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to juggle multiple responsibilities concurrently. The primary role will involve coordinating and managing patients’ healthcare services to ensure they receive the best and most timely care possible.Responsibilities:Acting as a primary contact for patients, ensuring all their queries and concerns are addressed promptly and professionally.Coordinating patient care plans so they understand their treatment steps and what is expected of them.Scheduling patient appointments and liaising with healthcare professionals to ensure smooth transitions in care.Assisting patients with the completion of necessary paperwork and explaining procedures, treatments, and any associated costs.Monitoring patients' progress and advocating for their needs.Collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to determine and validate patients' needs.Facilitating communication between patients and healthcare providers to ensure continuity of care.Helping patients navigate through the healthcare system, connecting them with resources and services, and ensuring their needs are met.Adhering to all relevant laws and regulations, including HIPAA, regarding patient confidentiality and privacy.Requirements Qualifications:

A degree in healthcare administration, nursing, or related field is preferred.

A minimum of two years' experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a patient coordination role.

Proficiency with medical software systems.

Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with patients, family members, and medical staff.

Outstanding organizational and multi-tasking abilities.

Superior customer service and communication skills.

Knowledge of medical terminology.

Ability to effectively manage time and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

In-depth understanding of healthcare regulations and medical ethics.
