Description We are in search of a dedicated Patient Care Coordinator for our healthcare facility located in Walnut Creek, CA. In this position, you will be primarily responsible for managing patient registrations for MD office and Urgent Care visits. This role includes scheduling appointments, answering billing questions, and managing patient medical records for our clinic. The work schedule will be variable, encompassing any of the 7 days of the week, including weekends and holidays. Responsibilities: Perform patient registration for MD office and Urgent Care visits Schedule appointments for patients as per the requirements Answer billing queries and provide necessary information to patients Manage patient medical records efficiently and maintain confidentiality Work in collaboration with the team to facilitate smooth clinic operations Provide workstation support as needed and maintain a detail oriented demeanor over the phone Handle clinical trial operations and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations Utilize EMR - Electronic Medical Records system for record keeping and patient management Support the Urgent Care unit by managing patient visits efficiently Ensure adherence to TRICARE and other relevant healthcare standards. Requirements Proficiency in scheduling appointments in a medical setting Experience with billing functions in a healthcare environment Familiarity with workstation support and troubleshooting Strong phone presence and communication skills Knowledge of clinical trial operations and procedures Comfortable with video conferencing and virtual communication tools Experience with HealthCare.gov and related online platforms Understanding of R programming language (R Code) Experience in coordinating and managing patient visits Knowledge of offshore medical processes and protocols Proficiency in using EMR - Electronic Medical Records Experience in handling and maintaining patient medical records Familiarity with UC (Urgent Care) procedures and protocols Knowledge of TRICARE health program Experience in Urgent Care setting Familiarity with NIS (Nursing Information System) Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
