With 787 employees 101 active medical staff and 21 Emergency Department beds Sierra Nevada Memorial Hospital continually implements and upgrades its technology and recruits employees who understand the vital importance of kindness and compassion in the healing process.ResponsibilitiesPosition Summary:The Patient Services Representative is responsible for executing various clerical and secretary functions for the Diagnostic Imaging department: answer and direct phone calls computer entry of patient data exam entry registrations/reception of patients fulfillment of film requests patient scheduling editing of reports enhancing patient experience by minimizing wait times and providing other similar tasks.QualificationsMinimum Qualifications:

One (1) year clerical and/or receptionist experience required.

Computer / typing skills

Use of various office equipment including fax/copier

Able to read speak and write English

Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions.

Preferred Qualifications:

Microsoft Office preferred

Medical Terminology preferred

Experience in a hospital or medical clinic preferred.
