Description Our client, a local healthcare facility is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Patient Service Coordinator to join our team. This individual will play a vital role in providing high-quality service and health care. The Patient Service Coordinator will be responsible for managing and coordinating patient care and services. Primary duties include scheduling appointments, managing patient communication, patient education, and facilitating the delivery of healthcare services in a cost-effective manner.Responsibilities:· Manage patient scheduling for consultations, examinations, procedures, and follow-ups.· Facilitate patient intake: gather patient information, verify insurance, and process patient paperwork.· Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care.· Resolve patient issues, concerns, or complaints while maintaining high satisfaction levels.· Monitor patient care progress; ensure tests are completed and results are communicated to patients promptly.· Maintain a strong and open line of communication between patients, families, and the healthcare team.· Provide education to patients and families regarding treatment options and medical procedures.· Ensure all patient data are kept confidential and in compliance with healthcare regulations.· Assist with the coordination of medical supplies needed for patient care.Requirements · High School diploma; a degree in healthcare administration or a related field is preferred.· Proven experience as a patient service coordinator or similar role in a healthcare setting.· Familiarity with healthcare practices, medical terminology and billing procedures.· Outstanding organizational and multi-tasking skills.· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient-centric focus.· Proficiency in MS Office, Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems, and healthcare software.· Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
