Payroll Clerk

Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Payroll Clerk in Dublin, California. As part of our retail team, you will perform essential duties related to payroll processing, data entry, and maintaining employee records. Responsibilities Efficiently handle termination processes to support our retail locations Utilize PeopleSoft to enter and update termination details, final pay information, and other relevant data Regularly review and process termination reports in PeopleWorks Convert hours from PeopleWorks into PeopleSoft for final payment processing Actively engage in communication with our retail stores, primarily through email, to ensure smooth operation Accurately review and enter data from the "wire report" into PeopleSoft Manage and process different methods of payments at the retail stores, including Pay Card and Petty Cash Demonstrate ability to work under pressure, especially during peak seasons like back to school and holiday seasons Perform repetitive tasks with a high level of accuracy and attention to detailSkills Proficiency in PeopleSoft Strong data entry skills Experience in manual payroll processing.
