Payroll Specialist

Description Our client in the tech industry, is in need for a Payroll Accountant to come in on a contract-to-hire basis! This is a great opportunity for a candidate that is looking to be part of the payroll team, and report to the Payroll Manager. They are located in San Jose, and as the Payroll Accountant you will be taking on:-Processing payroll for all of their US employees300 employees-Process payroll on a semi-weekly basis, for both exempt and non-exempt employees-Track and work on vacation accruals, payroll filing, payroll tax-Assist in month-end close and year-end close, since they face year-end at the end of JulyPost JE's, and reconcile the payroll to the GL-Work closely with the HR and Accounting team on any ad-hoc projects that come in-Post JE's and reconcile payroll within Great Plains, and process payroll within ADPThe ideal Payroll Accountant will have at least 3 years in payroll, recent experience with ADP, and ability to work in a fast paced environment.
