Payroll Specialist

Description Robert Half is seeking a Payroll Clerk to join the dynamic, fast-growing team. In this position, you will support the Payroll department in a variety of duties, including data entry, reconciliation of timecards, paycheck distribution and providing statements to various departments. You should be skilled in proper communication with both the internal team and outside customers. An opportunity for a Payroll Clerk has presented itself with an industry leader. Data entry into spreadsheets and the payroll system

Fill in data into spreadsheets and the payroll system

Be the main point of instruction/training contact to employees regarding payroll-related best practices

Conduct clerical duties such as filing, scanning, faxing, photocopying, etc

Build and run custom reports

Reach out to employees via phone and email to obtain timesheet approvals

Devise a system of administering and distributing reports Requirements - Previous payroll experience

Ability to enter data into various electronic systems while maintaining the integrity and accuracy of the data

Strong time management and organizational skills

Prior knowledge in Payroll software

Knowledge of Certified Payroll

Solid understanding of UKG Pro

Skillful in learning new processes and systems

Ability to effectively interact, verbally and in writing

Be detailed, flexible, and organized
