Payroll Specialist

Description Jumpstart an exciting career path with us as a Payroll Specialist! We invite a detail-oriented professional with strong mathematical skills, who thrives in managing payroll functions in a fast-paced environment, to join our expanding team.Responsibilities:

Gather and analyze employees' timekeeping records.

Process payroll on a bi-weekly/monthly basis, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.

Resolve payroll discrepancies, answer employee payroll-related queries and provide detailed payroll information when required.

Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.

Maintain confidential payroll operation records and files.

Coordinate with Human Resources and Accounting departments for payroll preparation and processing.

Keep up-to-date with payroll related tax laws and amendments.

Requirements

Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business, Finance or relevant field.

Proven work experience as a payroll clerk, payroll specialist, or a similar role.

Familiarity with payroll software systems and MS Office.

Knowledge of relevant payroll and employment legislation.

High numerical aptitude, accuracy, and attention to detail.
