Payroll Specialist

Description We are offering a short-term contract employment opportunity for a Payroll Specialist in Van Nuys, California. As a Payroll Specialist, you will be part of a team responsible for managing and processing payroll data, maintaining accurate records, and resolving payroll-related inquiries. You will be working within the financial services industry, utilizing your skills in accounting software systems, ADP, Ceridian, IBM AS/400, and Kronos Timekeeping System.Responsibilities: Process payroll data with accuracy and efficiency Utilize accounting software systems to manage payroll data Maintain up-to-date and accurate records of payroll transactions Address and resolve payroll-related inquiries from employees Utilize ADP - Financial Services for payroll processing Use Ceridian software for managing payroll information Operate IBM AS/400 for various payroll functions Implement Kronos Timekeeping System for time and attendance management Administer 401k - RRSP Administration processes Handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) related to payroll Utilize ADP Workforce Now for workforce management. Requirements Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services Experience with Ceridian Knowledge of IBM AS/400 Ability to use Kronos Timekeeping System Understanding of 401k - RRSP Administration Proficiency in About Time Experience with Accounting Functions Knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) Familiarity with ADP Workforce Now.
