Payroll Specialist

Description We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for a Payroll Specialist located in Santa Ana, California. As a Payroll Specialist, you will be responsible for auditing and processing payroll data, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with state and federal laws. This role is integral to the financial operations of our organization, and requires a strong understanding of payroll systems and procedures.Responsibilities: Audit and verify electronic time clock information for completeness and accuracy Collaborate with various department supervisors to resolve any discrepancies in time records Ensure timely and accurate transfer of weekly payroll data Utilize HRIS software to generate internal management reports Analyze, prepare, and input payroll data using automated systems Ensure compliance with all applicable state and federal wage and hour laws Generate weekly, monthly, quarterly, and year-end reports for management Conduct account reconciliations and provide General Ledger support Perform other duties as assigned by management Manage online certified reporting through Points North and LCP Tracker. Requirements Proficiency in UKG Pro payroll software Certification in Payroll Processing Familiarity with bi-Monthly Payroll procedures Comprehensive knowledge of Payroll practices and regulations Experience with Multi-state Payroll processing Experience in managing Payroll for 101-500 Employees Ability to Process Payroll efficiently and accurately Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
