Payroll Specialist

Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Payroll Specialist in Montebello, California. This role is in the accounting industry and will involve handling payroll operations and interacting with various accounting software systems. Responsibilities: Handle payroll processes using ADP Workforce Now Verify and reconcile time records, penalties, and manual checks Use accounting software systems to manage and process payroll Perform audits to ensure accuracy of payroll and related transactions Administer benefits such as 401k and RRSP Resolve inquiries related to payroll from employees or other departments Collaborate with the HR department for payroll-related matters Keep up-to-date with changes in payroll laws and regulations Maintain accurate and up-to-date payroll records Assist in other accounting functions as needed Requirements Proficient in Accounting Software Systems Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services Experience with ADP Workforce Now Knowledge of Ceridian and Dayforce systems Understanding of 401k - RRSP Administration Ability to use About Time software Strong grasp of Accounting Functions Proficiency in Auditing Experience with Benefit Functions Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
