Description Robert Half is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Specialist to join our clients team based in West Los Angeles. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and processing payroll using ADP, ensuring accurate and timely compensation for our employees. This role requires a strong understanding of payroll processes, compliance with applicable laws and regulations, and excellent organizational skills.Key Responsibilities:Payroll Processing:

Accurately process bi-weekly, semi-monthly, or monthly payroll for all employees using ADP.

Ensure proper calculation of wages, overtime, bonuses, and deductions.

Manage garnishments, benefits deductions, and other withholdings as required.

Compliance and Reporting:

Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations.

Prepare and submit payroll tax filings and related reports.

Generate and review payroll reports to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.

Employee Support:

Address and resolve payroll-related inquiries from employees promptly.

Assist employees with understanding pay statements, deductions, and other payroll matters.

Recordkeeping:

Maintain accurate payroll records and documentation in compliance with company policies and legal requirements.

Update employee information in ADP, including tax forms, direct deposit details, and benefit elections.

Process Improvement:

Identify opportunities to improve payroll processes and implement best practices.

Collaborate with HR and finance teams to ensure seamless integration of payroll data.

Requirements

Qualifications:Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred.Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a Payroll Specialist, with a strong focus on ADP payroll systems.Skills:

Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now or similar payroll systems.

Strong understanding of payroll laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.

Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.

Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.

Preferred Qualifications:

Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) certification.

Experience working in a multi-state payroll environment.

Familiarity with benefits administration and timekeeping systems.
