Peoplesoft HCM Programmer Analyst - Integrator

PEOPLESOFT HCM PROGRAMMER ANALYST - INTEGRATOR

Sierra Cybernetics is seeking a motivated contract Programmer Analyst with experience integrating 3rd party recruiting systems into a PeopleSoft environment.

This position will support our San Bernardino County government client.

You will participate in systems analysis, application architecture, systems design and development, database design, and applications programming. You will be assigned to the County’s Human Capital Management (EMACS) team to partner with Human Resources to implement on-boarding integrations between the county’s recruiting system (NeoGov) and PeopleSoft.

The position requires an expert understanding of the PeopleSoft hiring processes as well as experience with the PeopleSoft suite of development products (Application Designer, SQR, Application Engine, SQL etc.) and familiarity with all phases of the SDLC. The candidate will be responsible for analyzing existing on-boarding procedures and implementing integrations that will consume hiring information into PeopleSoft.

Contract Duration: 1 to 2 years. Work is fully onsite in San Bernardino for at least the first 3 months, with possibility of limited remote thereafter.

Responsibilities

1. Designing, implementing and testing HCM application involving new features and functionality from functional requirements, particularly related to employee on-boarding.

2. Database design in Oracle, SQL and formulating advanced SQL queries

3. Developing new and maintaining existing Database ETL processes and reports.

Skills and Qualifications

1. Proficient with PeopleSoft development suite - Application Designer, SQR, Application Engine, AWE, Query, etc.

2. Expert knowledge of PeopleSoft on-boarding processes.

3. Advanced PeopleCode experience.

4. Experience with Application Packages, Component Interface, Fluid Development, HTML5, and CSS.

5. Experience selectively adopting bug fixes and new features from PUM Images.

6. Experience reducing customizations by use of Event Mapping and Drop Zones.

7. Advanced SQL experience on an Oracle database.

8. Strong understanding of SDLC.

9. Familiar with various design, architectural patterns, and HCM frameworks.

10. Ability to write clean, readable, modular, scalable and easily maintainable code with proper technical documentation.

11. Experience integrating 3rd party recruiting systems into a PeopleSoft environment

Experience and Education: Degree in Information Management, Computer Science, or any closely related field with at least 5 years’ working experience using PeopleSoft, SQL and SQR. An equivalent combination of experience, education and training will be considered.
