- Recognized as a subject matter expert in multiple functional areas and serves as the functional module lead on projects.
- Consults with clients to ascertain and define requirements or problem area and works to determine the scope of investigation required to obtain solutions.
- Works on all phases of the project including fit/gap, configuration, and testing.
- Define business requirements through one-on-one sessions with client team members.
- Develop project plan based upon business requirements.
- Analyze business requirements in comparison with system parameters to establish a detailed system design document.
- Participate in one-on-one sessions with implementation team members to define detailed reporting specifications.
- Develop system – map data from legacy to new system, define rules, develop tables, determine and create written specifications for customization.
- Conduct testing including conference room pilots and prototyping to refine system design.
- Run parallel tests on loaded data between old and new systems, analyze output and troubleshoot errors.
- Follows Statement of Work and proactively raises items outside of project scope to Project Manager.
- Coordinates directly with clients to ensure high level of satisfaction is achieved and maintained.
- Assist with cutover from test system to production system.
- May assist with formal classroom and informal one-on-one end user training, as needed or requested.
- Effectively mentor junior consultants on projects and in modules.
- Supports recruiting efforts by interviewing candidates.
- Assist with sales support activities; development of Statements of Work, participate in Sales presentations.
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field or a minimum of 10 years relevant experience, with 8 – 10 years PeopleSoft experience.
- Experience with three or more modules, leading a module workstream for at least 5 or more full lifecycle implementations or upgrades.
- Experience with PeopleSoft 9.2, a must.
- Public sector experience, at least 4 projects.
- Minimum of 8 years consulting experience required.
- Ability to travel nationwide.
- Effective written and verbal communications a must, with presentation experience.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a project team.
