Demonstrates competency in patient care for patient population served. QualificationsMinimum Experience
Recent acute care in-patient hospital experience- Preferred
Post Graduate Residency- preferred
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy
PharmD-preferred
Licensure
Current California Pharmacist license

Requires critical thinking skills decisive judgment delegation skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a complex and dynamic environment and take appropriate actions in emergent situations. Must be able to communicate both written and verbally in an effective tactful and diplomatic manner. Must have teamwork and delegation skills and ability to supervise students interns residents technical and clerical staff. Must have the skills to produce accurate work results within established time-frames. Must have ability to provide proper therapeutic drug monitoring and therapeutic interventions Must have ability to enforce formulary decisions of the medical staff maintain accurate and complete records provide instruction and preceptorship on the subject of pharmacotherapeutics its use and application. Must have good understanding and ability to apply federal and state regulations and accreditation standards including The Joint Commission Title XXII CDPH DEA FDA and USP.
