Pharmacy Technician/clerk/driver and Relief Pharmacist

Local independent pharmacy looking for pharmacy technician, pharmacy clerk and relief pharmacist.

Qualifications

California Pharmacy Technician License (Required for technician position)

Pharmacy Clerk

Pharmacist (Active license)

Work authorization (Required)

Pharmacy Technician experience: 1 year (preferred)

Preferred Qualities (not required)

Possess knowledge insurance

Experience with filling medications

Experience with DigitalRx

Bilingual (Vietnamese, Mandarin, Cantonese, or Spanish)

Basic responsibilities will include

Input new prescriptions

Process refills

Process insurance claims

Research that is applicable to prior authorization submissions

Daily communication with healthcare providers and their staff

Assist team members when needed

Maintain a clean and organized work environment

Adhere to patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA

Answer telephones with appropriate greeting and provide solutions with excellent customer service

Return medications to stock, and assist in putting away ordered medications

Basic pharmacy calculations

Fill and label medications

Deliver medications locally to patients

Other duties as assigned
