Pool Service Canvassing

OVERVIEW

Looking for experienced canvassers (or we train) to promote our pool service by going door-to-door in targeted neighborhoods. You'll be provided with a prepared list of homes with pools to visit each day.

SCHEDULE & WORKLOAD

Works hours (actual canvassing time): 4pm-7pm Mon-Fri. Optional: Sat from 10am-1pm. You can work longer hours

Expected coverage: 18 pools per hour

Travel time: 1 hour

Total paid time: 4 hours

One of many Target Areas has 1,244 pools in a contiguous neighborhood

You'll return to this area each day until all homes are covered

COMPENSATION

$20/hour on a 1099 basis (i.e. independent contractor, no taxes etc. taken out)

$20/day travel time from your home to market area you are canvassing

$25 commission paid for each pool service sale; for repairs we pay 5% (we provide price list)

No hard selling required - simply introducing our service

REQUIREMENTS

Must feel comfortable walking and moving your car for 4 hours (or more if you wish)

Have reliable transportation

Casual dress ok as we give you yellow safety vest and (optional) company-labeled hat

This is a permanent position. We can interview over the phone. If you're hired, we go to an actual swimming pool and within two hours you're trained! Realize, we are selling a "service” where you'll run through a list of things we do each week we clean the pool, about ten items. Please contact me between 9am and 7pm Mon-Fri.
