Freshworks is looking for a self-motivated Solutions Architect to complement our Solution Engineering team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about and hands-on with technology. You will have the natural flair to move seamlessly between tactical and strategic conversations with our customer's technical and business leadership stakeholders. Additionally, you will play a critical role in helping our team formalize and standardize our solution offerings across our CX, ITSM & CRM products to key mid-market and enterprise customers across North America.As a Solution Architect you will be high energy, enthusiastic and have the ability to manage changing priorities in a hyper growth scale up SaaS environment. You will be responsible for the overall design and mapping of prospect's business requirements. This will include working with clients to assess current state processes and tools, identify Freshworks platform solution options, define solution requirements, define and scope/estimate integration requirements, and develop overall architecture points of view.About the role:- Maintain deep, comprehensive knowledge of Freshworks product capabilities and constraints. This will include understanding the data pipelines and code base of our Developer SDK for different products.
- Lead and drive technical pre-sales conversations around solution architectures, data mapping, integrations and data migration.
- Deliver hands-on configuration, development and integration services and serve in a delivery assurance capacity for complex pre-sales engagements.
- Scope and help deliver Proof of Concept / Proof of Value engagements with prospects.
- Lead design discussions including technical workshops, scoping and solutioning discussions.
- Craft as-is and to-be processes in order to help customers understand how our product solutions/platform can enable them drive better context, collaboration and productivity.
- 4+ years of experience as a Solution/Technical Architect, preferably in a SaaS environment
- Experienced developer with 2+ years of hands-on experience with at least 2 of the following languages (NodeJS, Java, Python)
- Engaging presentation style with the ability to read the audience and successfully manage executive and technical stakeholder conversations
- Good understanding of modern low-code/no-code platforms
- Hands on experience in building integrations (using REST APIs) with cloud systems
- Prior experience with either AWS, Azure or Google Cloud Platform is a plus, certifications will be a bonus
- Enthusiastic attitude and ability to learn/adapt to a fast evolving platform and passion to understand various SaaS products and broader technology ecosystem
