job detailsWe are looking for reliable Press Operators Helpers who have an interest in learning how to become a Press Operator. This opportunity provides guaranteed weekly overtime, and an opportunity to learn how to become a Press Operator. Shift: 3rd M-TH 4pm - 4am Pay: $18salary: $18 - $18.01 per hourshift: Thirdwork hours: 4 PM - 4 AMeducation: High SchoolResponsibilitiesThe Press Helper assists the Press Operator with the required steps of setting up the printing press for each job orderMakes sure there is enough raw material for the job prior to beginning the projectChecks all master rolls for damage or crushed coresAssures understanding of the correct side of material that will be printedPlaces raw material rolls on the pressSets up for ink pans and pumpsChecks viscosity and pHWhile running a job, monitors and documents ink issues and viscosityRemoves and washes plates, rollers, and ink pansRemoves cylinders, removes unused material from unwind and returns to inventoryPrepares for next jobLearns the basics of press operationCleans and maintains the pressWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee will have long periods of standing, walking, bending, stooping, squatting, or kneelingThe essential functions of this role include:

working in a smoke free environment

working in a non-temperature controlled environment

manual lifting up to 50lbs

standing for 10 hours at one time

working up to 20 hrs of overtime per week
