The Business Systems Integration (BSI) team within Northrop Grumman Strategic Space Systems Division (SSSD) is seeking motivated individuals to join our team as a Principal Computer Systems Analyst 3 or Sr. Principal Computer Systems Analyst 4 . Although the BSI organization is in Redondo Beach, this role can be executed remotely. The BSI team bridges the gap between the business side of operations (day-to-day system users) and the Information Technology (IT) department. The team also manages the Strategic Space Division's current and future portfolio of IT projects which includes budgets, schedules, and risk management.

The ideal candidate must be able to effectively communicate technical principles, theories, and concepts as well as develop innovative solutions to technical issues with an emphasis on Supplier Quality and/or Manufacturing Quality. The candidate must demonstrate customer support skills, be able to work collaboratively in cross functional team settings and be able to complete assignments with minimal management supervision. The role requires the ability to effectively manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment and to learn new computer applications quickly.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Coalesce, analyze, and document user requirements and/or problems to improve existing systems
  • Collaborate with business partners to develop solutions and correct system deficiencies
  • Develop system specifications that address business requirements aligned with system architectures
  • Test solutions to ensure optimal system functionality
  • Monitor integrated system interfaces for errors and resolve as necessary
  • Draft & publish instructional materials and provide system training to end users
  • Represent the organization in providing solutions to complex system issues
  • Contribute to the completion of specific programs and projects
  • Work with process owners to ensure optimal system interactions and develop improvements
  • May also have the opportunity for a Project Management role on IT projects
Principal Computer Systems Analyst (T03) Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor of Science in STEM related field with five (5) years of related and relevant experience, OR three (3) years with a Masters
  • Experience executing in SAP, Solumina or other ERP systems.
  • Experienced with Microsoft Office tools
  • Experience interacting and/or supporting manufacturing, quality, or supply chain business process.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance
Sr. Principal Computer Systems Analyst (T04) Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor of Science in STEM related field with nine (9) years of related and relevant experience, OR seven (7) years of experience with a Masters, OR four (4) years of experience with a PhD
  • Experience executing in SAP, Solumina or other ERP systems.
  • Experienced with Microsoft Office tools
  • Experience interacting and/or supporting manufacturing, quality, or supply chain business process.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or related Technical Degree
  • Experience in the Aerospace Industry, Government Civil Service or working on Defense Acquisition programs
  • Understanding of hardware and software requirements, design, development and testing of system integrations
  • Subject Matter Expertise in manufacturing, Supplier Quality, Manufacturing Quality , or supply chain business processes
  • Experience working on teams using an agile framework
  • Active DoD Secret, TS/SSBI or SCI

Salary Range: $92,200 USD - $138,400 USD

Salary Range 2: $114,300 USD - $171,500 USD Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
