Principal Custom Chip Lead

NVIDIA is hiring a Principal SoC Chip Lead to develop the next generation custom SoC and platform solutions. We are looking for special individuals with passion and desire to deliver innovative products. Together, we will build the next generation of life changing SoC's. If you are a motivated individual that understands how SoC systems are built, has intimate knowledge of SOC design and understand various development cycles, this is your place to be. What you'll be doing:

Lead SoC and Platform development from initial concept through productization silicon for products in cloud, networking, and other applications.

Lead and align program multi-functional development of IP, SOC design, verification, RTL2GDS, packaging, validation, software, emulation and productization.

Define SOC features, schedule and overall development plan in innovative process technology nodes, packages to get optimal PPA.

Work with customers, internal teams and management to plan and implement the SOC and Platform from concept to production.

Technical cross-domain leadership and technical issue resolution to deliver project on schedule to the performance, features, power and quality goals.

Improve SOC methodology, architecture and efficiency working with internal partners and customers.

Supports and encourages innovation while keeping execution on track

What we need to see:

SOC leadership of complex 3/5/7nm SOC's with high perf ARM cores, DDR, Video/GPU and/or ML IP and SOC experience preferred

Experienced driving project Concept through SOW, Feature and schedule Planning, TO, Production and post-production support

New product introduction experience with new Architecture and technology SOCs from design through emulation, Post Silicon and customer interfacing

Experienced in leading programs with internal and external partners, 3PIP, ARM subystems, DDR, HBM experience preferred

Negotiates IP/SOC technical solutions to meet program requirements.

Drives execution with internal teams and external partners to meet program commitments

Drives innovation and efficiencies on ongoing basis in our IP/SOC methodology

Master’s of Science (or equivalent experience) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a Bachelor’s Degree.
