Principal Engineer (Serverless, Cloud Transformation)

We are seeking a Principal Software Engineer for the Sales & Finance Engineering teams who will provide both technical expertise and leadership. A Principal Software Engineer is an individual contributor technical leadership role. As such, skills both on and off the keyboard are required.The work of the role includes articulating a vision to development teams and stakeholders, developing a strategy for its delivery, designing and architecting systems in consultation with respective development teams, and ensuring the delivery of scalable, performant, and reliable systems. They will be responsible for developing relationships brokering alignment between teams and across the NBCU organization. And they will also work with engineering leadership to ensure teams are properly equipped with the skills and tools required to perform their job effectively. E.g. People leadership, Product, and BusinessTrack record of introducing new processes and/or tools to improve software delivery or team functionDemonstrated customer focus and engagement regarding software deliveryDemonstrated success working in a large, multifaceted, and matrixed organization Provided mentorship to grow the technical skills and careers of others with consideration of their career stage and personal trajectoryAbility to communicate effectively depending on the audience technical teams, business teams, and leadership teams
