DescriptionAmazon's supply chain is a critical piece in Amazon's retail business. Although every retailer has a supply chain, none can match the scale at which Amazon operates. At Supply Chain Optimization Technologies (SCOT), we work on optimizing end-to-end inbound supply chain processes to enable delivery of billions of products to our customers' doorsteps faster, saving hundreds of millions of dollars in the process. Our team, Inbound Signals, Visibility, and Scheduling (ISVS), manages and tracks the execution of all supplier shipments inbound to Amazon's fulfillment network. Our systems interface directly with suppliers and carriers to coordinate thousands of pickups and deliveries weekly to ensure that items are in-stock and ready for purchase on the retail website, while tracking every step of the lifecycle for these shipments.As a Principal Program Manager you will have ownership and responsibility to manage WW Total Inbound Lead Times (TILT) through defining and driving strategic initiatives. You will partner closely with cross functional teams such as Transportation, Product Managers, Scientists, S&OP, BIEs, Data Engineers and Operations teams to optimize TILT by reducing inbound delays, improve vendor and customer experiences, and drive expansion of programs and initiatives. You will support multiple marketplaces and own goals and initiatives from end to end.Key job responsibilitiesThe primary responsibilities of this role include:

Define global strategic vision to improve WW TILT

Define new goals to measure the success of our program and drive health of the program

Own regular business reviews with senior leadership and operational teams to audit ongoing performance against key metrics and program goals

Develop new plans and roadmap to drive expansion

Scope and develop programs and associated roadmaps to deliver insights and drive decision-making

Deep dive and analyze key business performance metrics, identify gaps, create plans to mitigate and drive to closure

Manage projects with multiple inputs and multiple stakeholders

Partner closely with cross-functional teams to execute testing/validation initiatives aligned to team timelines

Comfortably transition between big picture, strategic thinking and tactical, day-to-day planning and execution

Create mechanisms to drive improved optimization on existing structure as well as create most efficient start up and standard work

Manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously and effectively influence, negotiate, and communicate with internal business partners

Facilitate process improvement initiatives among site operations, engineering, and corporate systems groups

7+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience

7+ years of program or project management experience

7+ years of managing, analyzing and communicating results to senior leadership experience

7+ years of working cross functionally across several teams experience

Bachelor's degree

Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization

Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements

Experience defining and executing program requirements

Preferred Qualifications

Experience delivering projects within scope, time, budget and quality

The base pay for this position ranges from $111,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $206,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
