Description SAIC is seeking a

Principal Program Acquisition Specialist to provide programmatic support to a program within the Program Executive Office's Space Domain Awareness and Combat Power portfolio in

El Segundo, California .

Fun stuff you will do on the job:
  • Provide advice to the Program/Project Manager and Senior Air Force Leadership regarding acquisition strategies, contracting, budgeting and execution
  • Develop/coordinate overarching program planning and execution documents as prescribed by/tailored from DoDI 5000.02, and relevant DoD, AF, and local unit policies that pertain to rapid prototyping
  • Provide technical and programmatic assessments of contractor design/milestone reviews to assess progress, risks and issues, and the ability to achieve mission requirements
  • Provide feedback and, or recommendations on the use of various contract types/strategies and impacts of fiscal law constraints for various stages of the program lifecycle
Qualifications

This is you:
  • Relevant Bachelor's degree with 14+ years of related experience (Master's degree with 12+) in:
    • Government weapon systems acquisitions
    • Program management within the Department of Defense
    • Contracts Management within the Department of Defense
  • Must have an active Top Secret clearance with in-scope SSBI/T5 and have the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI for Special Programs. Must be willing to consent to a polygraph.
  • ship required.

Target salary range: $150,001 - $175,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
