Principal, Software Engineer

Position SummaryWhat you'll doLeads the work of cross-functional groups of ten to twenty engineers, including offshore associates, for assigned Engineering projects.Supports business objectives by collaborating with business partners to identify opportunities and drive resolution.About Team:Our team works closely with our US stores and eCommerce business to better serve customers by empowering team members, stores, and merchants with technological innovation. Focus areas include customers, stores and employees, in-store service, merchant tools, merchant data science, and search and personalization.What you'll do:Candidate will be providing pertinent documents, direction, and examples; identifying short and long term solutions and timeline; reviewing and approving proposed solutions;implementing new architectural patterns; and performing design and code reviews of changes.What you'll bring:

Strong front end expertise, retail knowledge, platform experience

Node.js, typescript expertise

Lead business initiatives end to end from requirement gathering to delivery while working with stakeholders and product and program

Collaboration with leads for coming up with design for the project

Ownership for timely delivery of initiatives by working with engineering team
