Location: Redlands, CA Description: Our client is currently seeking a Principal Telecommunications & Network Engineer Co

• Perform IT Network and Telecom Systems IP Migration Planning.
• Participate in VOIP and Network Design and Migration activities for Integration Project.
• Perform IT Telecom Systems IP Migration Documentation - Network Discovery and Diagrams and Static Device List.
• Submit Telecom Systems IP Migration Change Requests.
• Coordinate with Telecom, network and Systems Engineers and perform IP Migration tasks.
• Coordinate with multiple teams to assist with Telecom Application List.
• Assist with Network and Telecom Design, Consolidate Smart Licensing and Services in CA Market Region.
• IT VOIP Systems Support and Vulnerability Management/Patching/Firmware Upgrades.
• Assist resolve VOIP User tickets.

• Bachelor?s degree in relevant major such as Telecommunications, Computer Science, Information systems, etc.
• 5+ years IT experience in the field of Network/VOIP/ IP telephony.
• 5+ years experience in Cisco UC Manager / Call Manager (CUCM).
• 5+ years experience in Cisco Unity / Cisco Unity Connection (CUC).
• 3+ Cisco IM & Presence Server (IM&P) / Cisco Jabber.
• 3+ years experience in Cisco Contact Center UCCX.
• Strong knowledge and experience with Routing protocols (EIGRP, OSPF, BGP) as well as HA, QoS.
• Experience with some of the log and monitoring aggregation tools such as Splunk, SolarWinds, PRTG, Wireshark.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco Nexus, Catalyst series, Meraki, HP Switches and Cisco ISR/ASR Routers.
• Hands-on experience with Fortinet & Cisco ASA Firewalls.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco Wireless Controllers.
