You will oversee compliance with regulatory and internal quality system requirements for process validations, as well as the implementation of equipment maintenance and calibration to ensure process control and reduce product risk. You will streamline, simplify and poka-yoke processes with a focus on safety, quality, waste reduction and cost improvement.Additionally, you will support manufacturing, analyze, test and evaluate manufacturing processes and generate detailed procedures and specifications for processes, tools and equipment.ResponsibilitiesLead continuous improvement initiatives using lean and six sigma principles to improve productivity, yield and qualityStreamline processes and validations for safety, quality, waste reduction, cost improvement and VAVE methodologiesExecute validations, provide guidance & lead initiatives to improve cost, quality & performanceSupport manufacturing, analyze, test and evaluate manufacturing processes and generate detailed procedures and specifications for processes, tools and equipmentRecommend and apply Lean Manufacturing tools to reduce process variability and measure performanceQualificationsBachelor's degree in Industrial or Mechanical engineering or equivalent5+ years of experience as a process engineer or similar2+ years of experience in process validations2+ years of experience leading projectsExperience in Lean Manufacturing tools such as Process Failure Mode Effects Analysis (FMEA) and formalized problem solvingPreferred QualificationsExperience in a highly regulated environment such as medical devicePMP or similar certification or project management trainingExperience with Process Capability Analysis, Mini-Tab or JMP Statistical KnowledgeInterested in hearing more?
