In this role, you'll lead a team of support and production-level employees within Manufacturing Operations, driving the achievement of key goals in environmental health and safety (EHS), customer satisfaction, quality, delivery, and financial performance. You’ll set the operational direction for an assigned work cell, manage production schedules, implement projects, and develop comprehensive training plans. Additionally, you’ll spearhead continuous improvement efforts and foster clear communication between leadership and direct employees, ensuring smooth and efficient operations across the board.The work associated with this position will be performed onsite in Fairfield, CA.What You Will Do

Ensures world-class safety and quality culture is maintained and respond to all EH&S and Quality requirements promptly.

Ensures full compliance with company policies and procedures.

Establishes work schedules - considering customer requirements, resource availability, and other priorities.

Holds employees accountable while maintaining a key working relationship.

Assists in cost reduction and process improvement activities to ensure efficiency of operations and cost effectiveness.

Assists in scheduling for assigned work cell so that production schedules are met.

Assists in sequencing of work, such as build and delivery, for a cell to optimize productivity.

Coordinates activities for materials and resolves logistics problems to ensure availability of materials and smooth operations.

Monitors cell performance and productivity to maximize productivity.

Interfaces with customers to understand customer needs and issues and ensures that the customers receive satisfactory standards of services.

Oversees production operations (shop floor management, workforce management, and flow disruption management), maintenance, plant engineering, scheduling and personnel.

Qualifications You Must Have

Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field or in absence of a degree, 6 years of relevant experience

Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) access.

Qualifications We Prefer

Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and uses good judgment to resolve conflicts.

Experience working with Microsoft Office Tools (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word) and SAP.

Experience utilizing lean manufacturing concepts with a proven track record of Lean and CORE.

Experience assigning, managing, and measuring work assignments to completion.

Ability to communicate at all levels of the organization including senior level management

Track record of problem solving in a fast-paced environment.

The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
