Program Manager with the top mass media company in the country

Location: Los Angeles, CA or Orlando, FL or Seattle, WA (remote to start, then hybrid once the office opens)

Contract: 12 months +

Summary: The Program Manager will be responsible for managing enterprise-level programs and/or multiple projects within the Enterprise Technology portfolio. This individual will work closely with various project owners to define the project team and assign responsibilities. The Senior Program Manager will also be responsible for developing a consolidated view of the program, and for program deliverables including calendars, cross-project dependencies, risk analysis, stakeholder coordination and regular communication of status.

Key Skills for the role:

- Tableau/Power BI from a reporting skill set- as it relates to reporting application experience- Technical Depth and Knowledge- but not a Technical PM(that is too technical)- Financial budgeting/forecasting experience/budget analysis- Must be an expert in Smartsheets- Solid program management experience- must hit ground running Primary responsibilities include managing high-risk, high-impact, strategic projects across a multi-disciplinary, multi-function group of technologists and business professionals. This requires experience communicating across audiences, effectively defining and utilizing escalation paths, and updating executive stakeholders. The Program Manager works in a dynamic, collaborative environment and reports to an Enterprise Strategic Programs Senior Manager or Manager, Program Management

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES

• Program and Project Management Deliveryo Accountable for driving execution and delivery of moderately complex programs from start to finisho Demonstrates clear understanding of the programs vision, objectives, scale and scope of work, expected outcomes, business value and impact, timelines, roadmaps, resource level requirementso Establishes strong partnerships and engagement with project stakeholderso Develops a holistic program plan comprised of multiple projects plan documentso Creates goveranance practices and protocols to control and monitor the program/projectso Provides management oversight, aligns and lead cross functional and international project teams to ensure critical day-to-day program/project deliverables progress forward to deliver specified requirements, objectives and valueo Identifies gaps in the project teams accountability and ownership of deliverables

• Vendor and International Team Managemento Oversees and align with 3rd party vendor to ensure deliverables are complete in a timely mannero Demonstrate flexibility to align with international time zones as necessaryo Evaluates and harmonize vendors timelines/schedules and cross-project dependencies to ensure alignment with overall program objectiveso Drives escalations to remediate risks/blockers impeding vendors forward progression, as necessary

• Financial Managemento Oversees finance/budget responsibilities for projects of moderate complexity. Analyzes, measures and recognizes the financial impact of various project actions, participates in analyzing and using financial data to identify key project issues, and maintains budget tracking and monitors budget expenditures.
