Job Description

Freshworks is looking for a Program Manager to drive and manage internal, cross-functional marketing projects from inception to completion. Working with the marketing leadership team, you will be responsible for defining and communicating program objectives, deliverables, deadlines and success metrics. Reporting to the Chief of Staff to the CMO, this role is key to helping the marketing organization execute on strategic initiatives. The position requires a passion for cross functional collaboration, problem solving and getting things done.

Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with project sponsor and cross-functional teams, to develop scope, deliverables, required resources, work plan, budget, and timing for new initiatives, along with proactive risk/issue/constraint management
  • Day-to-day management and coordination of initiatives -from inception to on-time completion
  • Proactively communicate and create alignment with stakeholders located in India, US and around the world
  • Track, follow up and appropriately communicate all updates, roadblocks and decisions for projects on an ongoing basis
  • Analyze, evaluate, and overcome program risks, and produce program reports for management and stakeholders

Qualifications

  • 5 years of relevant experience in project management
  • Experience collaborating and driving alignment with executive-level stakeholders
  • Excellent organizational skills with experience managing multiple projects with competing priorities
  • Proven experience developing and managing work back schedules, scope, budgets, resource plans, issues and risks
  • Proven ability to thrive in a deadline driven, fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable speaking with multiple stakeholders at varying levels, ability to synthesize detail project tasks to report up high level accomplishments and risks
  • An enthusiastic team player with effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience working with many cross functional and global teams is a plus
