Amick Brown is seeking an experienced
Project Coordinator for our direct client.Location: Sunnyvale, CADuration: 11 Months. Job Description Roles & Responsibilities- Joining our clients means joining a team dedicated to using technology to benefit patients by improving surgical efficacy and decreasing surgical invasiveness, with patient safety as our highest priority.
- We are seeking a Project Coordinator to support the Project Portfolio Management (PPM) team focused on user support for the Clarity PPM tool and tableau dashboards.
- The Project Coordinator will help execute the quarterly portfolio management and resource allocation cycles by assisting Project Managers and Resource Managers enter data into the Clarity PPM tool.
- This person should be energetic, result oriented and a strong communicator/collaborator.
- This person would be following up quarterly with 300+ cross-functional Resource Managers.
- Comfort with understanding and leveraging data from excel or tableau dashboards would be required in this role.
- Additionally, the following skills would be needed by the person to be successful in this role - proactive, a strong communicator, key influencer, relationship builder, detail-oriented, and have investigative skills.
- This is the position for you if you love to effectively communicate and collaborate with multiple people to help collect important data inputs for quartrly planning cycles.
- Work with Project Managers to check and remind them to complete important milestones and data entries into the Clarity PPM tool
- Work with Resource Managers to remind and assist them to complete their hard allocation data into the Clarity PPM tool.
- Monitor and report project status for project milestones, documentation, and deliverables
- Proactively organize efforts to alleviate data entry bottlenecks and speed execution.
- Coordinate and follow up on activities of team leader and assist with ad hoc tasks during the quarterly cycles
- Support team meetings including taking minutes and tracking action items.
- Initiate, develop and implement departmental, process related improvements
- Coordinate important milestones during the quarterly resource planning cycles – Assembling presentations, checklists, action items, etc.
- Understanding of Design Controls for Medical Devices is a plus
- Bachelor’s Degree required.
- 3+ years of directly related experience desired, medical devices experience strongly preferred
- Familiarity with the Clarity PPM tool, Project Portfolio Management or Project/Program Management is a plus
- Strong collaboration, effective communication, high energy
