Our projects range from electrical rehabilitation to on-call maintenance and public works contracts. We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to join our team and support our expanding operations.
Job Summary
The Project Coordinator will play a key role in supporting project managers and field staff by managing documentation, assisting with scheduling, coordinating subcontractors, and handling administrative duties. This position is ideal for someone highly organized, professional, and eager to grow within the construction industry.
Key Responsibilities
. Assist Project Managers with daily project tasks and documentation.
. Prepare, submit, and track submittals, RFIs, change orders, and other project paperwork.
. Support payroll processing and general office administration.
. Maintain project schedules and coordinate updates with subcontractors and clients.
. Research and source qualified candidates for open positions when needed.
. Answer phone calls, respond to emails, and professionally communicate with clients, vendors, and agency representatives.
. Collect and organize project-related information, including drawings, schedules, and meeting notes.
. Provide support for compliance documentation on public works projects.
. Perform additional duties as assigned.
Required Skills & Qualifications
. 3+ years of experience in construction, utilities, or project coordination (preferred, not required).
. Strong organizational and time management skills.
. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
. Ability to follow instructions, work independently, and support multiple team members.
. Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
. Experience with project management software (Procore, PlanGrid, Bluebeam) is a plus.
