Shasta County communications business seeks a Project Coordinator!

This is a great Temp-to-Hire opportunity!

Position overview: Manage and support the scheduling, documentation, and administrative coordination of telecom/physical security installation, maintenance, and upgrade projects.

The ideal candidate will serve as the central point of communication between Administrative Operation Manager, field technicians, vendors, and clients, ensuring smooth execution and timely delivery of telecom & physical security jobs.

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate job scheduling, technician assignments, and resource allocation

Answering Telephone & Process Calls

Serve as the liaison between clients, field staff, and internal teams

Daily field schedule for service and project work tickets

Maintain and update job tracking systems, project schedules, and documentation.

Prepare and process work orders, porting, material requests, and job packets.

Monitor project progress, escalate delays, and help resolve scheduling conflicts

Verify job completion, collect necessary documentation, update systems.

Track inventory usage and coordinate for material fulfillment.

Support invoicing and billing processes by ensuring job documentation is accurate

Assist with reporting, including KPIs, job status updates, and productivity metrics.

This position may be called upon to assist other departments in order to meet customer needs

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or technical certification preferred.

2+ years job coordinator, dispatcher, or project assistant (telecom/construction industry preferred).

Telecommunications &/or physical security systems, terminology, installation workflows.

Proficiency with job management software, spreadsheets, and scheduling tools (e.g.,

Excel, SAGE CRM, Salesforce, ServiceNow, FieldAware).

Proficiency with MSOffice products

Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Attention to detail and problem-solving mindset.
