Project Manager - EHR applications

Work will be onsite in Daly City, CA. Local candidates preferred. Client is unable to sponsor H1-B visas at this time. The Project Manager on the Application Services team will use project management skills to present to organizational leadership, coordinate end to end user trainings, and ensure clinical & operations teams are fully supported as they go live with new initiatives/projects and programs.

• Acts as primary contact and owner for all assigned projects; Engage, encourage, and enable project teams to completion and closure of the assigned project(s)
• Develops, analyzes, and manages complex project plans with schedules and forecast
• Coordinate and collaborate with multiple teams across the organization including vendors and/or systems that meet business use cases, defining deliverables, and key milestones.
• Quick learner of organizational knowledge of clinical workflows and technology implementations
• Ensure the projects meet organizational and departmental goals
• Expertise in translating technology implementations into business language for gaining clinical and operation buy-in for timely user adoption
• Monitors and controls the overall project performance and quality against plan
• Define, track and communicate deployment/implementation plans and training plans to all stakeholders in a regular cadence
• Executes financial objectives by forecasting requirements, preparing project budget, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances and initiating corrective actions.
• Identifies needed resources for projects, defines and assigns project(s) as appropriate.
• Communicates and presents project status to a variety of different audiences.
• Adapts to competing priorities, strong knowledge of scrum/agile/SDLS methodologies
• Documents project process and outcomes. Demonstrate continuous learning and improvement
• Facilitates improvement efforts and develops implementation recommendations.
• Holds all project resources accountable and escalates when necessary

• Performs other job duties as required by manager/supervisor.

• Bachelor’s degree in business or engineering or relevant field. Masters degree preferred.
• 5+ year experience of IT or business project management experience preferably in a healthcare setting
• Clinical/EHR Implementation Experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences
• Must be able to multitask with an appropriate sense of urgency
• Strong relationship management skills
• PMP certification strongly desired

• 3 years of working with Project Plan tools like MPP, SmartSheet etc.
• 3 years of working in large matrix organization
• 3 years of experience in business analysis
• Certified scrum master or Agile Certification like SAFe
• Experience implementing Epic EHR
