- Ensure all Reliability test plans are submitted clearly, and then, route each request to the appropriate third-party lab to be executed on time and with the highest quality.
- Before outsourcing tests, you will work closely with the test requesters and third-party labs to ensure that test expectations are clear and reasonable.
- Manage all vendor communication, meticulously track the progression of each project, and be responsible for keeping all stakeholders up to date.
- Accurate documentation. Ensure that vendors follow established SOPs correctly, that test data is collected accurately, and that prompt corrective actions are taken when test discrepancies are noticed.
- Work on multiple projects simultaneously and manage competing priorities
- Strong technical background that can comprehend and use critical thinking skills to execute processes and procedures independently
- Knowledgeable of test engineering fundamentals and project management
- Background in test engineering or working in a lab that has a strong understanding of reliability testing or material testing.
- Excellent and active communication, presentation, and organizational skills
- Strong interpersonal skills, oriented toward teamwork
- Excellent project and time management skills, ability to learn on the fly, and accommodate rapid change.
- Self-motivated and proactive, demonstrating creative and critical thinking capabilities, and an acute attention to detail.
- BA/BS degree or 2+ years of industry experience
- Strong background in reliability engineering, material science, physics, or mechanical engineering.
- Experience quoting jobs and has a strong understanding of how those jobs are executed
- Bid management, project management, Apple scripting, or Python experience a plus
- Hands-on tech experience
