P/T Skilled Green Thumb/Garden Enthusiast

Looking for a part-time skilled green thumb / “Girl Friday” gardener to help out with greenhouse tasks and general support on a small farm property in North Goleta.

Tasks may include:

Starting seeds, transplanting, and propagating plants

Weeding, pruning, fertilizing, and maintaining garden beds

Planning and maintaining seasonal garden layouts

Assisting with greenhouse organization and upkeep

Harvesting produce, labeling plants, and potting

Light property tasks as needed (watering systems, composting, tool care, etc.)

Occasional errands or help with farm projects

Ideal candidate:

Has hands-on gardening or horticulture experience

Enjoys working outdoors and getting their hands dirty

Is detail-oriented, reliable, and able to work independently after training

Has a good attitude and interest in plants, sustainability, or small-scale farming

Flexible hours (part-time, weekdays preferred), with potential for additional hours during busy seasons.
