The person doing this job is responsible for a variety of tasks that lead to a high level of customer satisfaction in the most cost effective manner.Qualifications
Bachelor Degree in Nursing
Licensed Registered Nurse required
One year of community health nursing, with pediatric or health education background preferred, with the ability to effectively plan and conduct health education services.
Ability to function as a member of an interdisciplinary team.
Demonstrated skill in providing community health services, including through home visits, within low-income communities to families from diverse cultural and ethnic backgrounds
Skill in teaching and mentoring professionals from a various disciplinesand backgrounds.
Knowledge of the health care system and community health care resources. Knowledge of community health theories and best practices.
Knowledge of the field of family violence and familiarity with reporting laws.
Demonstrated ability to execute projects in an independent and responsive manner.
Experience with staff supervision and program development.
Skill in organizing and maintaining a comprehensive record-keeping system.
Ability to speak clearly,concisely, and in an organized manner, along with the skill in writing clearly to articulate concepts and ideas in a logical fashion.
Bilingual English/Spanish language skills required
CPR/BLS;Fire Safety Cert; Valid CA driver's license and ability to make home visits to various Los Angeles locations.
