We are currently searching for an enthusiastic Purchasing & Asset Management Specialist to join our IT dept. This role will be responsible for the efficient and accurate running of the purchase and asset management function by organizing all required departmental purchasing, inventory management and asset tracking.

Essential Job Functions: IT primary procurement point of contact for all new and existing hardware/software technologies Assist in managing processes to increase efficiency on behalf of the IT team Track department expenditures and help monitor the budget Purchasing & Contract processing, invoice payment processing & tracking. Ensure team members have the tools they need by processing software requests on internal portal Partner with IT team to provide team members with equipment and a functional work environment Asset management (hardware, software, office supplies, and misc. peripherals) Track department expenditures and help monitor the budget Manage software licenses and subscriptions Monthly reconciliation of corporate cards Serve as coordinator of services with internal and external contacts - input into vendor system Work with legal on software usage clearance Identifying and responding to technology sourcing needs and requirements, including performing technology market research and analysis Daily purchase order placement and expected due date monitoring Daily invoice processing to include contracted and individual invoices Plan and participate in monthly inventory to make sure minimum levels are met and data is accurate Continuously improve the Purchasing and Inventory Management functions Process maintenance service requests for hardware and/software

Relevant Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Excel Experience with Oracle E-Business Suite / ERP Experience with Asset Panada, IT Asset Management Software a plus Database experience Proven analytical skills with information systems. Excellent verbal and written communication Maintains a high level of confidentiality Ability to work with different partners and represent a common point of view across multiple stakeholders. Requirements: Bachelor's degree with 3 years+ of strong technical skills in supply chain (inventory, planning, purchasing, asset management). Strong organization skills and attention to detail including the ability to multi-task and prioritize multiple projects with competing deadlines. The ability to establish and maintain effective internal and vendor relationships. Excellent verbal written communication skills. Must effectively express ideas and recommendations both orally and in writing. Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality. Ability to act independently with minimal direction and supervision
