QA Analyst

Q Analysts is looking for experienced Mid-level QA Analyst who performs and co-ordinates testing for one or more functional areas of a product. The role will have communication and escalation responsibilities and will work under the direction of a QA Lead. Project requires a basic background in testing mobile apps or games or visual interfaces with good attention to detail. Basic Android troubleshooting skills are required. Testers will run existing test cases and log bugs. Project involves end to end testing on an assistant console device. Requires good exploratory skills, ability to speak for extended periods of time, sharp visual skills and an inquisitive mind to test the limitations of the software and hardware. They will also have to document and create test reports and be comfortable with team collaboration. Functionality to be tested includes extensive use of speech recognition to test devices and apps etc. Tester should be "tech savvy" and able to talk shop with engineers daily.Responsibilities include:

• Test Point Of Contact (“POC”) for a functional area in a product
• Responsible for coordinating testing with offshore team
• Identify key testing challenges / goals and develop initial Test Plan
• Prioritize which test plans to execute for specific app releases and launches
• Communicates the plan / updates / status of product effectively to the Meta QA lead and product team
• Works effectively with stakeholders to root cause and solve issues

• 6-8 years of experience in testing domain and testing process life cycle
• Experience in manual testing and should have experience working in teams with offshore - onsite model
• Able to work independently and has excellent understanding of requirements
• Able to understand complex and new feature requirements easily and create traceability matrix to ensure all requirements are covered
• Expertise in reporting, RCA skills, bug analysis, defect management and test case management tools
• Good communication, reporting and coordination skills
