Qt/QML Hybrid Software Engineer (1 year Contract)

Our client is seeking a Software Engineer with solid experience in developing production-level Qt/QML-based GUI applications. The role involves translating designs into functional, responsive, and efficient interfaces for new commercial technology product development. Candidates should have solid Linux/C experience and an eye for clean, user-friendly UI design. A portfolio (small or large) of past Qt/QML-based GUI is important. Background in embedded systems or firmware engineering is important.

This is a 12-month Hybrid contract assignment (at least 2 days remote – possibly more down the road) in San Diego near I-15 and Mira Mesa Blvd. When in the office the environment is super casual and fun!

Linux AND Qt AND qml AND C AND (embedded OR firmware OR rtos) AND (UI OR UX)

Requirements:

Proficiency in Qt/QML development

Strong C programming skills

Experience delivering production-quality applications

Bonus:

UI/UX design portfolio

Embedded/firmware engineering experience
