Quality Assurance Lead - Manufacturing - Machine Shop70K - 95K BOE, Email Mvalverde@aerotek.comDescription:Directs the continued review of quality activities and the creation of new or revised processes to ensure quality improvements to reduce costs, enhance efficiency, and align to company values.Aligns quality function resources with site and business unit productivity efforts while ensuring all product quality and quality system compliance requirements are met and balanced with customer needs.Provides ongoing communications and supports business unit management efforts to meet KPls.Creates a proactive and dynamic quality team through coaching and mentoring of direct staff, and the continual evaluation of quality organization effectiveness and relevant strategic site quality plans.Maintains effective working relationships with internal and external customers.Ensures ownership of business unit Management Representative duties for ISO 9001-2015 certification, including all audit activity.Drives efforts to meet the company's cost of quality (COQ) reduction goals.Proactively manages efforts to ensure that the company’s productsCollaborates and works cross functionally with other Department heads to accomplish business goals.Develops and trains team in use of common quality tools (value streammaps, Pareto principle, 5-WHY’s, etc.).Understanding of NADCA Product Specifications Standards for die castingSkills:Quality assurance, manufacturing engineering, manufacturing industry, quality control, team management, pc-dmis, cmm operation, calypso, erp systemTop Skills Details:Quality assurance,manufacturing engineering,manufacturing industry,quality control,team managementAdditional Skills & Qualifications:Understanding of NADCA Product Specifications Standards for die casting Ability to read and interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions, drawings and quality manuals.Proficiency in MS Office Software applications, familiarity with ERP system use.Proficiency with CMM software: PC-DMIS preferred, CMM Manager and Zeiss/Calypso experience is a plus.Experience Level:Expert LevelAbout Aerotek:We know that a company's success starts with its employees.
