Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Quality Assurance Specialist in the manufacturing industry. Located near Sanger, California, this role is key to ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and customer satisfaction. As a Quality Assurance Manager, you will be involved in the development and implementation of quality control systems, conducting rigorous testing and inspections, and overseeing compliance with industry regulations and standards. THIS IS NOT A REMOTE POSTION, WORK IS ONSITE. Responsibilities: Develop and implement quality control systems to ensure consistency and adherence to industry standards. Conduct rigorous testing and inspections of products to assess the quality and safety. Oversee compliance with industry regulations and standards, including HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) and GFSI (Global Food Safety Initiative) requirements. Collaborate with production and operations teams to identify and address any issues affecting product quality. Lead and mentor a team of quality assurance technicians, providing guidance and support to ensure consistent and accurate performance. Analyze quality data, generate reports, and make data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement. Communicate findings and recommendations to senior management effectively. Utilize various skills such as Atlassian Jira, Bug Tracking, Database, Eclipse, EO/IR systems, AB Testing, Auditing, Automation, Defect Management, and Documentation to enhance job performance. Maintain the highest levels of food safety and quality assurance. Requirements Possession of a bachelor's degree in food safety, food science or a related field. Proficiency in Atlassian Jira and Eclipse for managing software development projects. Solid understanding and experience in bug tracking and defect management. Familiarity with database management and AB Testing. Proven experience in quality assurance auditing and the creation of audit reports. Demonstrated ability to implement and manage automation processes in a manufacturing environment. Knowledge and understanding of EO/IR systems in a manufacturing setting. Excellent documentation skills for maintaining quality assurance records and reports. Strong analytical skills to identify and resolve quality-related issues. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective team collaboration. Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Commitment to continuous learning and detail oriented development in quality assurance. Must be willing to comply with all safety regulations and procedures. Strong problem-solving skills to identify and resolve quality-related issues. Ability to work independently and make decisions with minimal supervision. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite for record keeping and report preparation.
