This role shall be responsible for implementing a robust Quality Assurance, Training, and Reliability program allowing the team to be more Business Process oriented and focus on Quality. Responsibilities: To develop and optimize the fleet reliability program through detailed failure analysis strategies, dashboarding, and KPI’s. Drive changes in fleet inspection and maintenance through change management in training, processes, procedures, tooling, CBM, and LCM to drive fleet performance critical success factors. Working closely with the Site Management Team to implement a robust Quality Assurance Program and Business Improvement Plan to enable the creation of standardized processes that ensure smooth, uninterrupted maintenance, improved product quality, and further reduce the burden on employees. Key to this is the candidates ability to create an effective and efficient working relationship with the Project Management and Operations teams at all levels, developing integrated supporting management processes/procedures while functioning in a as a mentor, educator capacity to both teams and individuals. Continuously aim for improvements in productivity/efficiency of the maintenance and overhaul process through the installation and management of appropriate tools and processes to assess, improve and accurately monitor performance. Additionally, to provide the maintenance and overhaul teams with support regarding the elimination of process waste utilizing dynamic problem solving techniques. Understand and capture latest industry innovations and best practices both within Alstom worldwide and in outside industry. Converting such best practice to add value to the Project/Business Operations. Support the development of maintenance and overhaul processes including the training which are balanced to optimize service availability, with tasks being carried out to a standard sequence and TAKT time, involving; Process Maps, highlighting Task sequencing and TAKT time The development and generation of Standard Maintenance Process (SMP) information, such as drawing packs, SMP sheets and Safe systems of working that reflect reliable and safe maintenance processes. Ensure all Health & Safety Documentation regarding maintenance activities is relevant and reflects legal and company EHS requirements (Risk Assessments, Safe Systems of Work, Manual Handling etc). Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree, in mechanical, electrical or Industrial Engineering and/or equivalent experience. Five (5) years of relative experience required including the ability to demonstrate achievements in process improvement (preferably in a maintenance setting) Deep knowledge of CBM and LCM techniques Knowledge/application of Kaizen methodology. Excellent organization skills. Possess soft skills required to maintain and develop positive relations with our business partners, customers, suppliers. Strong analytical abilities. Knowledge of MS Office, Windows, Lotus Notes.
