ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following: (Other duties may be assigned)
Serves as the Management Representative having the responsibility for assuring that the Quality Policy is properly implemented and maintained. Cooperates with other top management in formulating and establishing company policies, operating procedures, and goals.
Maintains adequate records for inspection operations, calibration, acceptance and rejection, metallurgical test results, and disposition of non-conforming materials.
Oversees dispositioning of parts that have been determined to be non-conformant.
Assesses the Quality System by internal quality system audits and management reviews. Analyzes, evaluates, and presents information to other members of the management team concerning factors such as customer satisfaction, corrective and preventative actions.
Revises and annually reviews the Quality Assurance Manual as necessary per customer requirement or as the result of the annual review of the Manual.
Oversees the maintenance of military, customer, and in-house specifications libraries to the latest revisions. Oversees training of personnel for quality assurance operations.
Conduct internal and external audits in accordance with NADCAP requirements.
