- Mechanical Engineering Bachelor's Degree in-progress required, currently in junior or senior year.
- Work on projects involving physical inspections, lab tests, calculations, research to ensure the most effective development of algorithms for condition monitoring and fault diagnosis/prognosis of centrifugal pump and mechanical seal systems
- Program and debug numerical methods for algorithms for pump and seal systems based on test data and physical models
- Participate in test projects, assist in documentation
- Collaborate with others to explore approaches, methods, and conclusions
- Apply knowledge of fluids, statics and dynamics, heat transfer, materials, etc. to solving problems
- Use precision measuring tools in physical inspections
- Read and interpret engineering drawing and mechanical blueprints
- Perform fluid and structural modeling to facilitate predictive algorithm development.
- Must be currently enrolled as a student at a university within driving distance of Temecula, California.
- Must be able to demonstrate legal right to work in the United States
- Understanding of statics, dynamics, material science, machine design, fluid mechanics, heat transfer, and statistical analysis.
