Description We are looking for a dedicated Receptionist to join our team in Culver City. The role involves managing the reception area, assisting the facilities team, ensuring office cleanliness, and handling various administrative functions. This position offers a contract to hire employment opportunity.Responsibilities: Warmly welcoming employees, guests, and visitors upon their arrival at the office. Efficiently managing the visitor management system. Supporting the Facilities team in preparing the office space for team onsite experiences. Ensuring the cleanliness and upkeep of the reception desk, main lobby, printers, conference rooms, and other areas as necessary. Proactively responding to employee requests via various communication platforms and in person. Managing office mail efficiently using digital tools. Submitting and tracking maintenance requests as needed. Assisting with the creation and distribution of weekly lunch menus and daily lunch cards. Collaborating with the janitorial team to assist with conference room setup and catering deliveries. Supporting the enforcement of office policies and standards. Managing the facilities onsite booking portal. Coordinating with security to manage building access card activation and distribution. Ensuring beverage machines are in working order and coordinating with vendors for repairs as needed. Overseeing the ordering and stocking of office snacks, beverages, and office supplies.Requirements Must have a solid understanding of receptionist duties, including handling phone calls, scheduling appointments, and greeting visitors. Demonstrated ability to order office supplies, maintain inventory and manage vendor relationships. Experience in managing and distributing incoming mail in a timely and efficient manner. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with diverse groups of people. Proficiency in using office equipment such as fax machines, printers, and photocopiers. Basic computer skills, including the use of email and office software such as Microsoft Word and Excel. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks. Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion. Professional appearance and demeanor, reflecting positively on the company. Willingness to take on additional tasks as needed to support the smooth operation of the office.
