Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Regional Controller in Salinas, California. The role is in the accounting industry where you will be handling various accounting functions, using different accounting software systems. This opportunity provides an engaging and dynamic environment where you will be a vital part of our team.Responsibilities Role will oversee financial operations, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of business lines, cash flow, and record-keeping processes.
Lead the development, implementation, and management of payroll, banking, and budgeting frameworks, including the creation and execution of annual budgets, conducting regular budget reviews, tracking financial performance, and performing audits to ensure compliance and financial integrity.
Prepare, maintain, and deliver accurate and timely financial statements.
Conduct critical reviews of financial results and strategic plans, addressing key business issues with the Executive Team.
Develop and manage financial models for business analysis, forecasting, and multiyear projections.
Create and analyze monthly financial Key Performance Indicator (KPI) reports, identifying trends to drive performance improvements.
Ensure timely and accurate reporting of monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial data in accordance with GAAP, providing reports to lenders and the Executive Team.

Degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA certification or MBA strongly preferred.
Minimum of 7 years of progressively responsible financial management experience.
Extensive knowledge of US GAAP standards and compliance requirements.
Demonstrated expertise in financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and analysis.
Strong background in cost accounting practices.
Proven ability to manage and enhance financial systems and processes.
Highly self-motivated with the ability to operate confidently and effectively in a results-driven organization.
Prior experience in agriculture or the wine industry is strongly preferred.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Exceptional analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
