What will you be doing:Lead and develop a team of procurement professionals into a highly effective and best in class value delivery teamLead category strategy development and value creation across a wide range of direct and indirect categories for approximately $180M in annual spend across 8 flagship properties in California (7) and Washington State (1)Develop multi-year enterprise sourcing strategies and value roadmap in collaboration with senior business stakeholders to deliver minimum $7M in incremental procurement value over 3 yearsDevelop and maintain strong relationships with owner, business units and internal stakeholder groups by continually demonstrating value and breaking down barriers to effective sourcing through polished executive influencing and relationship-building skillsExecute sourcing projects as defined within the portfolio strategy:Define project goals, timelines, roles and responsibilities, and an overall project management cadenceApply contemporary methods and innovative approaches, such as total cost of ownership, e-Auctions, should-cost models, and raw material index agreementsDevelop comprehensive implementation and communication plans with stakeholders and end usersEnsure involvement of all organizations and individuals impactQuantify and document resultsDevelop and skillfully execute negotiation strategies to achieve desired, pre-agreed outcomesDevelop and deploy standard reporting for key stakeholders that gages satisfaction, engagement and performance against sourcing activities, upcoming contract expirations, supplier performance issues, and other key informationProvide stewardship of strategic sourcing policy as well as solution compliance and adoption  throughout the organizationAssess existing Purchasing Operations processes and make rapid recommendations for improvement to assure resources and time spend on areas of highest ROISalary Range: $131,000-$196,000 USD Gross AnnuallyYour skills and experience include:Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Business Process Management, Analytics, Information Technology, or equivalent experience7+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, management consulting, advisory or professional services role with a demonstrated track record of results and increasing level of responsibilityA strong drive for people management and change management with high degree of resilience and self-motivationAdaptive to fast paced, constantly changing environments and ability to work as part of a global team to collaborate across geographic and organizational boundaries to deliver better business results and share best practicesExpertise in strategic sourcing and leading multi-category sourcing teams for direct and/or indirect spendExpertise in negotiations and contracting: including e-sourcing, should-cost models, leveraged agreements, multi-year contracts, complex terms and conditions, performance incentives, and management of corporate riskExcellent communication skills, including written, verbal and presentation skills; comfortable and credible with both internal stakeholders and external audiencesStrong orientation to team leadership, coaching, collaboration, and positive communicationDemonstrating strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.) softwareMBARetail, Hospitality, Group Purchasing Organization (GPO) or Consulting industry experiencePMP (Project Management Professional) or SCMP (Supply Chain Management Professional) designationsInnovator: Comes up with new, unique solutions and embraces new ideas that have a clear, quantifiable and material positive impact on our business.
